Government Polytechnic, Tundla, Firozabad is one of the reputed polytechnic colleges in Uttar Pradesh, especially in the western region, offering three-year engineering diplomas in various streams. The polytechnic was established in 2013 and started functioning from its permanent campus with three engineering streams: Civil Engineering, Mechanical (Production) Engineering, and Plastic & Mould Technology.
The institute has been steadily growing since its inception and continues to expand its infrastructure and academic resources. All diploma courses are affiliated to the Board of Technical Education, U.P., and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. It is a notable technical institution in Firozabad district and is progressing with innovation, practical skills, and technical excellence.

Mechanical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering involves the design, manufacturing, and maintenance of machines and mechanical systems. It provides knowledge of production, thermal systems, and industrial machinery.
Civil Engineering
Plastic Mould Technology
Plastic & Mould Technology focuses on the design, manufacturing, and maintenance of plastic moulds and plastic products. It covers processes like injection moulding, blow moulding, and compression moulding, preparing students for careers in plastic manufacturing industries
Facilities
Library
The Polytechnic has a well-organized library with a rich collection of general books, textbooks, and reference materials. The library also functions as a Learning Resources Centre (LRC) and includes books related to the current syllabus of the Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education, Lucknow.
Laboratory
The institute has well-equipped laboratories to promote practical learning. Computer labs and machine labs help students gain hands-on experience and understand technical concepts more effectively.
Workshop
The workshop offers practical training where students work with tools and machines under the guidance of experienced instructors. It helps students develop technical skills, confidence, and industry-oriented knowledge.
Hostel
The institute has a boys hostel with a capacity of 60 students. The Hostel provides basic amenities along with a safe and disciplined environment for comfortable student accommodation.
